The law enforcement patrol vehicle for officers is, at times, the only safe place to get away from all the traumas and troubles in the world.

Officers sit in their patrol vehicles because the call they just took triggered them. They are collecting their thoughts to try and stop the horrible memories repeatedly playing on the inner movie screen of the mind. They are stuck in a mental health crisis that seems like it will never end. They are searching for help for all the traumas in their lives, professionally and personally. They are searching for resources.

As That Peer Support Couple, we always strive to be a resource for those officers sitting in patrol cars. We also help their families. Critical incidents traumatize officers and their families. Time and time again, we are asked if we can find resources for them and near them. These resources must be properly vetted to be culturally competent to serve law enforcement. It can become time-consuming to search for health and wellness resources through multiple internet searches. The search for the right solution, the right resources can bring on added stress. We are happy to say we have found a stress-free solution. We are honored to collaborate with our friends from Lighthouse Health and Wellness.
